Eyebrow Threading is an ancient method of hair removal still used in many countries to create a clean defined line to the Eyebrow and also remove hair from the upper lip and other facial areas.
100% cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hair in the thread which is then lifted out from the follicle.
It is found, by many, much less painful than waxing. Since threading only targets the individual hairs, skin irritation is kept to a minimum, unlike waxing, which often causes unnecessary stretching and removal of the skin’s delicate top layers.
The threading technique (a method of facial hair removal) involves a lot LESS PAIN than waxing. Sometimes, the waxing method burns the top layer of skin on your brows and face. With the threading technique, a row of hair is removed from the brows by twisting hair into a special cotton thread (that has about the same consistency of dental floss), making it less likely to be painful compared to waxing or tweezing. Further, the thread does not strip facial skin which is so delicate and sensitive - thus being safe for those with very sensitive skin as well. It also gets every hair from the root so you do not have ingrown hairs like you may have with waxing. Finally, with the threading technique, you get a better shaping and arching of the Eyebrow than by the waxing method, and it requires less maintenance than any other method.
The main benefit of threading is the way it shapes the eyebrow, not just underneath but also the top. One of the major drawbacks of tweezing, especially when done at home, is that it’s easy to remove the wrong hairs which then alter the shape of the eyebrow. For example, you may remove thick hairs from underneath the brow which act as a form of ‘scaffolding’ for the entire brow. By removing those hairs the shapes collapses, and there is no option but to wait for them to grow back in.
Threading avoids this as it only removes hairs from around the eyebrows. It’s fine to go over the same area several times as only the hair is being targeted. It’s also very good for removing facial hair, especially when waxing or sugaring has proved too irritating.
Threading is very precise and allows our specialists to have greater control than waxing, resulting in a better eye brow shape for you!. And even those short stubbly hairs can be removed; this gives you the option of avoiding that yucky growing-out period that everyone hates!
About the same as with tweezing -- anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks.
The Threading effects are less than with other hair removal methods such as tweezing, waxing or sugaring. The skin may get a little red and only a slight pinch is felt as a relatively large area is covered each time.
The majority of people that breakout from waxing tend to not break out from threading. Threading is completely safe and is recommended by many dermatologists.
Unlike waxing which can be messy and time consuming, Threading requires no external products, only the use of 100% cotton thread and a minimal amount of time with a skilled cosmetician. Unlike waxing,
waxing can tug, pull, stretch, and even remove the delicate skin on your face, eventually facilitating in the development of wrinkles! But there is good news, threading does none of this! So instead of torturing yourself with waxing, choose threading which will leave you hairless and smooth!
Yes, Threading is 100% natural, there are no artificial waxes, chemicals, or invasive techniques used
.
Minimal redness occurs after threading, and any redness that does appear, usually subsides within an 15 min. Threading lets your beauty secrets stay secret!.
Shaping Perfect Eyebrow goes hand in hand with Upper Lip & Lower Lip Threading, Side burn Threading, Face Threading and High Eyebrowz.
None whatsoever. As a matter of fact, the majority of people that breakout from waxing tend to not break out from Threading, so people with Acne shouldn't have any fears trying threading.
