Is Japanese Hair Straightening the same as Hair Relaxing?

What kind of hair is suitable for Japanese Hair Straightening?
Most hair types except African. Sorry, the hair is too fragile and cannot withstand the heat.

How long does Japanese Hair Straightening process take?
The process takes 3 to 4 hours to complete. 

If your hair already has a relaxer in it, you will not be able to receive this process.  The two services are very incompatible and can have very negative results, including breakage. You should also use the specifically designed after-care products recommended for this procedure.

Can you color OR highlight afterwards?
Yes, in most cases you can; however, the waiting time in between the two processes may vary from client to client. 

How long does it last?
It is permanent.  Depending on your hair type, the tightness of your natural curl, and rate of hair growth, a touch-up may be required every 6-9 months.. 

On average, we will save you 20 minutes on styling every day, so 60 hours will be saved over six month period. (20 min * 180 days = 3600 min / 60 hrs).  Is getting silky straight-hair and saving you 60 hours on hair styling worth it?

You bet.  Please feel free to do research or call other great salons, and soon you will realize that our quality service and superb products can't be beaten. The bottom line is the later you wait, the more likely you will pay more for the same service.
